Host Home/Companion care services provided by BECC HCS are person-centered in nature, and are designed to help individuals with developmental disabilities learn the skills they need for a better quality of life. Our host homes are intended to promote self-sufficiency and community involvement while also enhancing residents' overall well-being.
Similar to our Residential Group Home program, the caregivers in our Host Home/Companion Care program assist people with intellectual and developmental disabilities with daily life skills and other individual needs. Host Homes, on the other hand, provide care in the home of the caregiver, creating a more relaxed and supportive setting.
People with intellectual and developmental impairments may benefit greatly from living in a Host Home or Companion Care setting, where they will experience the love, care, and respect that come with being a part of a family that has extended its arms to embrace those they care for. Being part of a family in a Host Home can result in a pleasant and loving experience for both the host and the guest.
